"a camera is a tool for learning how to see without a camera"
My name is Cameron Holloway, and if you made it past the cliché quote above then I already know we're going to be friends.
I've been shooting since early 2013, and as the quote above suggests, I believe photography is more than motel art and desktop backgrounds. It offers, quite literally, a different viewpoint of the world, forcing you to look beyond your own interpretation of what your camera sees.
Over the past three years it has given me so much, from a growing understanding of context, to the importance of first impressions, and even a better grasp on human nature's relentless battle between the real and the ideal. And yet it does it in such an unassuming fashion that I often forget its impact on the way I see the world.
